Here we are at the end of April. Naturally, it means it’s time for some Saturday Snippets.
Since I’ve been taking part in Camp NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), a slightly paired down version of NaNoWriMo proper, I’ve been focusing on a new draft. One that I’ll just call Luminary for now. Most of the snippets you see (six of them!) below are taken from Luminary. Since Till Death Do Us Party is still my main work in progress, you probably won’t be seeing many more Luminary snippets for a while.
And since Till Death Do Us Party is where most of my efforts lie, I couldn’t let the month go without sharing anything. So, with that in mind, I’ve included three snippet from the latest draft for your reading pleasure. Snippets from two stories for the price of one! Considering that price is free, it’s pretty awesome value, I have to say.
As always, please note that these snippets are not representative of any final product; they are a work in progress. Luminary‘s snippets come from draft one (though I consider my initial NaNoWriMo version draft zero); Till Death Do Us Party‘s are from draft three. These may or may not make it to the final product, and if they do, who knows how their final form will look? So just consider these as glimpses into the drafting process.
